As imagens aqui apresentadas são o ponto de partida de um projecto documental antropológico em desenvolvimento na Guiné-Bissau. A presença de uma coisa ausente pretende investigar a relação entre a memória do projecto colonial português e as formas quotidianas de resistência da contemporaneidade guineense, através do espaço e da relação que se estabelece com ele, numa referência a um passado que permanece implícito (Ricoeur, 2004)

The images presented here are the starting point for an anthropological documentary project underway in Guinea-Bissau. The presence of an absent thing aims to investigate the relationship between the memory of the Portuguese colonial project and the everyday forms of resistance in contemporary Guinea-Bissau, through space and the relationship established with it, in a reference to a past that remains implicit (Ricoeur, 2004).
